Holy Trinity Church is a multicultural Anglican church that serves a diverse parish and community made up of local Filipinos and expatriates from many nations across continents. It has been an active Episcopal congregation that continues the work and witness of the church in the Philippines for more than a century now. 

As the world grapples with myriad of issues that impact the church life, the Holy Trinity Church is actively and prayerfully looking for its 12th Rector who will shepherd the young, multicultural and vibrant community of faith. To be Rector of Holy Trinity Church will be an exciting mission and an exceptional opportunity at such a time as this when the church is called upon to be a strong witness for Jesus Christ and a light within the community it serves.

As Rector, you will

1.         Shepherd and challenge the congregation on their spiritual journey for witness and service;

2.         Celebrate the church’s diversity and foster a greater sense of community;

3.         Lead the growth of church membership and participation, help attract and retain both temporary and permanent residents, and welcome visitors to the Philippines;

4.         Develop and grow fellowship opportunities and new initiatives to support church mission;

5.         Develop a youth ministry and attract young families to the congregation;

6.         Expand awareness of the church and its participation in the community and the Diocese, in living out the Five Marks of Mission;

7.         Exercise ecclesiastical authority in the parish, with responsibility for worship, pastoral care, Christian education and ecumenical engagement;

8.         Oversee all facets of parish administration. Supervise, support and develop all parish staff.

As Rector, you have

1.         Experience as a Rector of an Episcopal or Anglican church of a multicultural congregation, or at least has been exposed to such a congregation

2.         Experience in church growth initiatives and implementation demonstrated by actual increase in membership and church member participation in various church ministries

3.         A dynamic and charismatic disposition who can preach powerful biblical, relevant and practical sermons

4.         An energetic, inspiring and transformational servant leadership, who can shepherd the congregation toward faith-based lifestyle and engage the parish staff to be excellent servants of Christ

5.         A good public speaking ability with an excellent command of the English language

6.         A consistent prayerful life and a calling to serve Christ at Holy Trinity Church in the Philippines

7.         A basic understanding of how technology including social media may be utilized in fulfilling the church mission and in accomplishing its growth initiatives

8.         A strong support from a growing family, preferably, with members who are actively involved in church ministries

 

As Rector, the Holy Trinity Church offers

1.         Furnished housing.

Additional Information

One of our denomination’s most famous leaders was missionary bishop to the Philippines and ecumenical visionary, Charles Henry Brent, who established the Brent International schools and St. Luke’s Medical Centre (Quezon City, Global City).
